"...she is fully expected to follow up..."

Timeform on Pakora

Pakora - 17:20 Galway

Pakora was a near-smart performer on the Flat in France, and made a successful start over hurdles for Willie Mullins at Cork in May, value for much more than the three-length winning margin suggests. She travelled well, and was in control when making mistakes at the last two flights, but having enough in the tank to assert on the run-in. There should be plenty of improvement in her, and she is fully expected to follow up. Her stablemate Exchange Rate also looks a nice prospect, while Canardier is respected on form.

Would Be King - 19:05 Galway

Would Be King remains a maiden, but he is a useful performer, and he looks well up to winning a race of this nature. Admittedly, he failed to land prohibitive odds at Dundalk last time, but he very much sets the standard on form in this line-up, and he is taken to deservedly open his account. Iiex Excelsa and Burning Question are others to consider.

Inscribe - 19:40 Galway

Inscribe resumed his progress to make it three wins from his last four starts over a mile and a quarter at the Curragh last time, doing well to claw back an in-form rival who had the run of the race. The drop back to a mile on likely better ground (all of his wins have come on soft or heavy) poses a question, but he is progressive and should have even more to offer, so is worth chancing. A well-run race would be ideal for Bond Street kept to this trip, while British raider What's The Story appeals at longer odds.
