Timeform pick out three bets from Ballinrobe on Tuesday.
Dorans River - 18:00 Ballinrobe
Dorans River left his previous hurdling form behind when opening his account at Downpatrick 11 days ago on his first start for Gordon Elliott. He won with plenty in hand that day, always travelling smoothly and putting the race to bed with the minimum of fuss, so he will remain of interest going forward. Blast of Koeman was a very good second in a big-field Punchestown handicap last time and looks the biggest danger back in novice company.
Timi Roli - 18:30 Ballinrobe
Timi Roli is yet to build on his promising debut for this yard in November in two subsequent starts and is proving expensive to follow. Indeed, he travelled as well as any in a novice hurdle at this course earlier this month, holding every chance at the last, but unable to quicken. He is well worth a try at this longer trip on that evidence, and this doesn't look the strongest race, so it will be disappointing if he doesn't go very close. Great Khan has been well backed this morning and is up to winning a race of this nature, so is feared most.
Hash Brown - 20:30 Ballinrobe
Hash Brown shaped as though he was in need of the run on his return from three months off at Punchestown last time and he looks interesting off this sort of mark. He was very wide in the early stages that day but made good headway into mid-field around halfway, and went on to challenge early in the straight before his effort flattened out. Admittedly, this looks a competitive handicap, but this slightly shorter trip should suit, and he is worth chancing at the prices. Love Rory is another solid contender in the McManus colours, while Net d'Ecosse and Jetstream Jack both remain unexposed in these sort of races for their leading stables.
