Nick Shiambouros returns with two decent priced selections from the evening meeting at Kempton...
"He is best judged on his debut in June when beating Indian Viceroy in good style"
Guns to bounce back
18:45 Kempton - Over The Guns
I am going to give Over The Guns another chance in this novice auction stakes.
This colt carried my hard earned when disappointing behind Silkstone In August. He held every chance just over a furlong from home, but failed to quicken when the chips were down. He is best judged on his debut in June when beating Indian Viceroy in good style. Trainer Paul Cole applies the blinkers today and hopefully they will have the desired effect. At present he is trading at 5.39/2 on the exchange which is more than fair.
Anycity heads the market at 3.65. He made all to win a maiden at Chelmsford on debut last month and is a likely improver. I am not sure he beat very much, and may struggle to defy a penalty.
Love this filly
19:15 Kempton - Loved So Much
Loved So Much could run well at a decent price in this maiden.
This filly put in a much improved effort when finishing third to Quicksand over this course last month. She put in some good work in the closing stages, and finished the race with good energy. I think she has more to offer, and is well worth an interest at her current price of 11.521/2 on the exchange.
Sir Michael Stoute sends out Urbino who is the current favourite at 3.45 on the exchange. He flopped behind Diocletian in a handicap at Doncaster in June, and ran as if something was amiss. He has the form in the book to take this but has something to prove now.
