Nick Shiambouros is back with a couple of win selections from Catterick and Lingfield...
"I think she has more to offer and I expect her to go close"
13:30 Lingfield - Ennaadd
Ennaadd should be good enough to take this maiden.
This colt created a favourable impression on debut when finishing fourth to Top Beak at Windsor earlier this month. He ran on strongly in the closing stages, despite showing signs of inexperience.
I thought that was a promising effort, and should take a big step forward today. His current price of [2.72] is more than fair.
The main danger is Von Blucher who is trained by John Gosden and is owned by his wife. He finished a fair fourth to Viren's Army in testing conditions at Epsom. He sets a good standard, but I think the selection will improve past him.
15:50 Catterick - Tarando
Tarando has been in cracking form recently and has strong claims in this sprint handicap.
Last time out at Ayr she held on in determined fashion to defeat Keene's Pointe by a head. She looked like winning easily a furlong from home, but had to fight pretty hard to secure the victory.
I think she has more to offer and I expect her to go close. She is trading at [4.5] on the exchange which is about right.
Prigsnov Dancer is the obvious danger. He won his third handicap of the year when beating Toni's A Star at Nottingham earlier this month. This veteran campaigner stands his racing well and is sure to run his race.
