He takes on some in-form rivals in the shape of Street Poet and Soar Above but with plenty of prominent racers in the field, it looks like it will be run at a strong gallop. His run last time over C&D suggested that he needs just that to be seen to best effect and with the look of a progressive type, he can record his first handicap success.

In what looks a tight minor event with a case being made for the majority, the one to oppose would be KINGS RYDE. He was headed close home last time at Stratford and now steps up in trip having had the run of the race that day. He may be able to dictate again today but looks vulnerable to both his competitors with Le Musee open to improvement after winning readily last time and Ready And Able having been rated higher over hurdles.

CHATHAM HOUSE is a fairly useful maiden, but can go one better than his previous attempt on the all-weather and can break that tag. His last two starts after being gelded have been filled with promise and his last start can be upgraded considering how much he was left to do at Chester. Ryan Moore is reunited with him for the first time since his two-year-old days, and with his incredible strike rate at the track, can get his head in front for his first success.
