Chaparral Dream - 19:00 Ballinrobe
CHAPARRAL DREAM is a fairly useful horse on the flat and the switch to hurdling hasn't worked yet, but his last run suggested that his time is coming and tonight looks a good opportunity. Having ran two races in the space of four days on the switch to handicap company suggests this mark is within his reach and now given time to have put that practice to use at home, he looks unexposed in this code and can register his first success over obstacles.
Soldier At War - 19:30 Ballinrobe
This looks to be between the two powerhouses of Irish jump racing with Gordon Elliott's charge SOLDIER AT WAR expected to come out on top. Whilst he isn't progressive, his maiden form looks stronger than Castle North's minor company victory and considering his high head carriage that day, he doesn't look the most straight forward, giving preference for Solider At War.
Tungsten Kid - 20:30 Ballinrobe
TUNGSTEN KID seemed to improve for professional handling last time after Davy Russell got on board for the first time, which suggested his turn in the winner's enclosure isn't too far away. Despite dropping in trip today after a good second last time, the large field here suggests this could be run at a good gallop and he can use his proven stamina for further to good effect to record a first success.
