5.00 Racegoers Club 50th Anniversary 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (4) 2¼m110y

Timeform Top Rated:
137 4. SET LIST Dan Skelton Harry Skelton
132p 1. SEROSEVSKY Harry Fry Miss A. B. O'Connor (7)
124 2. WHITLEY NEILL David Pipe Tom Scudamore

Analyst's Verdict:
Potentially a match between Serosevsky and Set List. The former pushed a nice prospect all the way at Warwick in May so is just preferred.

5.30 Phillip Dodd Memorial Handicap Chase (4) 2½m216y

Timeform Top Rated:
126 4. AS YOU LIKE Jonjo O'Neill Aidan Coleman
124 3. MILLE NAUTIQUE Fergal O'Brien Paddy Brennan
124§ 2. MOORLANDS JACK Jeremy Scott Nick Scholfield

Analyst's Verdict:
As You Like is thriving, and although he failed to complete a hat-trick over C&D last month, he ran really well and remains very much one to be interested in. Mille Nautique should be shaper for last month's comeback run and is feared along with 3-time C&D winner Moorlands Jack.

6.00 newtonabbotracing.com Handicap Hurdle (3) 2m167y

Timeform Top Rated:
146 1. COURT MINSTREL Evan Williams Adam Wedge
141 7. CLENI WELLS Martin Hill Richard Johnson
139 3. RED TORNADO Dan Skelton Harry Skelton

Analyst's Verdict:
A slowly-run race could complicate things for veteran Court Minstrel given how he is ridden, but he's too well treated to ignore and this is a pretty big drop in class. Red Tornado and Passing Call are fit and in form, so are big threats.

6.30 Remembering Dear Lauren Scott Memorial Handicap Hurdle (4) 3¼m105y

Timeform Top Rated:
126 1. LORD TOPPER Jamie Snowden Page Fuller (5)
125 2. BODEGA Ian Williams Tom O'Brien
125 3. TRAVERTINE Jonjo O'Neill Aidan Coleman

Analyst's Verdict:
Midnight Sapphire has been absent since March 2017, but she's undergone a breathing operation and fitness ought not to be a concern given the stable she now represents, so she is the selection in the hope there's strength behind her in the market. If that isn't the case, Lord Topper and Mamoo, both recent C&D winners, are best placed to take advantage.

7.00 Racegoers Club 50th Anniversary Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Chase (5) 3m1f170y

Timeform Top Rated:
112 9. MIDNIGHT QUEEN Tim Vaughan Richard Patrick
111 4. TOP CHIEF Colin Tizzard Angus Cheleda (8)
109§ 3. ORIENTAL FIXER Michael Scudamore Hugh Nugent (3)

Analyst's Verdict:
Midnight Queen was in the process of running well (sure to be placed) when departing on her return to Rules at Southwell last month so she gets the vote with headgear back on. Top Chief arrives in better form than most and is another to consider, along with Alanjou, who has dropped to a competitive mark.

7.30 Actuate Marketing Mares' Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m167y

Timeform Top Rated:
109 3. BITTER VIRTUE Ian Williams Tom O'Brien
108 8. KRISTAL HART Neil Mulholland Tom Scudamore
105 1. KIRUNA PEAK Fergal O'Brien Paddy Brennan

Analyst's Verdict:
Versifier has twice shaped better than the bare result this term, not for the first time finding the longer trip stretching her stamina at Fontwell in June. From a further reduced mark, she is fancied to come out on top. Bitter Virtue is interesting on debut for Ian Williams and market support would look significant, whilst Ayelya shouldn't be written off for Olly Murphy.
