Timeform pick out three bets from Vaal on Tuesday.
"...looks sure to improve even further after just the three starts..."
Sunshine Silk - 11:00 Vaal
Sunshine Silk may not be the best horse in Geoff Woodruff's talent packed stable, but she still looks more than capable of adding another 105,000 Rand to the stable winnings here. A well-bred daughter of Silvano out of an Al Mufti mare, she has hit a top four spot in five of her six starts with a less than two lengths third at Turffontein when running on over the mile last month, and with improvement expected for the step up in trip, Sunshine Silk is the obvious choice.
Jaunita - 11:35 Vaal
Jaunita has certainly cost her supporters dearly with thirty-one unsuccessful starts, though the daughter of Crusade has placed nine times to help to pay the training fees. Last time out she ran her best race yet here on the main track when only beaten a neck by Western Shamrock with a length and a quarter back to the third, and with the form looking above average and in a fairly weak race, Jauntita may get her first win under her belt.
That's Life - 12:10 Vaal
That's Life is the highest rated runner in this five-furlong maiden and rightly so following a career best second to the well-regarded Sirtain here last month, albeit at a respectful distance. Johan Janse van Vuuren has his horses in good form recently, and Gavin Lerena has been booked to ride which is always a positive, while the son of Var looks sure to improve even further after just the three starts, leaving That's Life as the one they all have to beat.
