#8 Christopher Robin - Turffontein R5 (13:35 GMT)

Christopher Robin makes his handicap debut here on the back of a good runner-up performance at the Vaal. There has been a lot to like about his recent efforts and he get the nod ahead of Blue Flute, who can play a big role if running to the same level as last time when fourth over course and distance.

#4 Ikigai - Turffontein R6 (14:15 GMT)

Ikigai failed to justify favouritism last time but was still a respectable second and looks worth another chance back up in trip. He won here in September and sets the standard ahead of Mawsool, who looks to be the main danger, while Russian Beat also merits consideration.

#2 Miss Khalifa - Turffontein R8 (15:35 GMT)

On the whole Miss Khalifa's recent efforts have been likeable and she looks competitive on form here. She is having her first run since rejoining Tobie Spies's yard and is a major player back down in trip. Cosmic Mist sets the standard among the remainder, while Rosalina also commands a second look.
