Timeform on Aspen Belle

Timeform pick out their three best bets from Sligo on Tuesday...

Aspen Belle - 18:40 Sligo

Aspen Belle wasn't for stopping at Cork on Friday, showing improved form to resume winning ways in impressive style, and looks well treated under a penalty. She could be hard to catch again. Powersville lurks on a very good mark and showed more in a big-field event at the Curragh last time. Highly Approved and Olay Power are also considered.

Rag Tatter - 19:10 Sligo

Rag Tatter arrives on the back of a couple of good runs in big fields at Navan and is taken to add to his all-weather win in December from what still looks a workable mark. Teddy Boy is best not judged on his latest effort (met trouble) and had running well prior to that. John McConnell has his team in good form and Hey Pretty is also respected having been dropped 3 lb for his latest run at the Curragh.

Maunganui - 20:10 Sligo

Maunganui remains a maiden but did shape better than the bare result when third at Cork last month, noted staying on having not been ideally placed. He's on a handy mark judged on the pick of his three-year-old form and could be worth chancing to come out on top. Castle Guest and Lady Rosebud arrive in good order and are feared most.
