Timeform on Eva's Diva
Eva's Diva - 12:40 Fakenham
After showing ability in bumpers - finishing runner-up on two occasions - Eva's Diva made an encouraging start to life over hurdles when second at Wincanton in October. She was seemingly turned out too quickly when third just nine days later, but soon returned to form with two successive runner-up finishes over C&D and Market Rasen. The form of those two efforts is the best on offer in this contest and Phil Middleton's charge looks a solid proposition to finally get off the mark.
Strong Glance - 15:10 Fakenham
Strong Glance looked a useful prospect for Fergal O'Brien when winning two of his three starts in bumpers but has failed to progress since making the switch to hurdles. He was well backed on his debut in this sphere last November but proved disappointing, with his jumping only part of the problem. The son of Passing Glance did improve slightly at Doncaster a month later but again disappointed when a well-beaten fifth at Kelso in March. He remains with potential and the switch to Olly Murphy's yard may rejuvenate him, but he is likely to go off a relatively short price and there are more appealing types in this race.
Armattiekan - 12:25 Catterick
2 - Donald McCain's number of winners in past 9 runnings.
Armattiekan raised his game when runner-up from this mark at Bangor in May, finding only a subsequent winner too good that day. He possibly needed his Stratford return in October and can be excused his Huntingdon effort as a bad mistake at the fourth forced him to be pulled up. Donald McCain has a good record in this race and, with his charge operating off a workable mark, looks to have a decent chance of adding to his tally.
