Timeform pick out three bets from Newmarket on Tuesday...
"...he can provide John Gosden with another winner in this race having won three of the last four renewals..."
Timeform on Elhafei
Elhafei very much caught the eye on his debut at Lingfield in November, having to contend with both greenness and a wide trip having had the worst of the draw. He raced off the pace until shaken up around two furlongs out, staying on well in the closing stages under a hands-and-heels ride. Elhafei is the type to improve markedly for that experience, and he can provide John Gosden with another winner in this race having won three of the last four renewals. Aurum makes most appeal of the newcomers and needs keeping an eye on, while Robsdelight sets the standard on his debut second at Doncaster last month.
Symbolization's form is working out remarkably well, and he looks most interesting on his return. Purser sets the standard, but could only finish fourth in a listed race at Newcastle on his return, and Symbolization could improve past him. He won a maiden at Kempton on his final start - the second, third, fourth and fifth all won next time - in good style, and his pedigree is an ongoing recommendation for better to come this season, so he has plenty in his favour.
On form, this looks between Mildenberger and Kew Gardens, with slight preference for the former who receives 3 lb from the Irish raider. Mildenberger finished third behind two very promising colts in the Royal Lodge last time, and he has the physique to go on to even better things this season, particularly over middle distances.
