Timeform pick out their three best bets from Exeter on Tuesday...

"...he has obvious claims of going one better here off the same mark last time."

Timeform on Hattaab

Hattaab - Exeter 14:40

Hattaab was only beaten by a handicap debutante when finishing second on his first start for Henry Oliver at Southwell last week, and he has obvious claims of going one better here off the same mark last time. As such, he's a confident selection to take this. Magna Cartor is interesting after a break on his first start for the shrewd Dr Richard Newland team, while Renwick and Bang On are two more with place claims.

You Say What - Exeter 15:50

Though the ground is forecast to be good, this will still likely prove to be an extreme test of stamina. This looks an open renewal, and at the prices it may be worth siding with You Say What for the in-form David Pipe. He shaped as if he retains all of his ability when sixth here after 14 months off last month, looking fifth best until tiring, and he could be well-treated now dropped an extra 4 lb if able to build on that outing. Kilcullen Flem is another lurking on a good mark at the moment after running his best race of the season at Hexham last time, while Sandhurst Lad is at the top of his game at present and can't be discounted.

Kingston Mimosa - Exeter 16:25

A handicap chase which doesn't look as though it will take too much winning, with several unreliable types lurking, meaning that a chance is taken on Kingston Mimosa. He acquitted himself well when third on his chasing debut at Taunton last month, and it isn't unreasonable to think that he ought to improve a little for that initial outing. Indeed, he doesn't need to find too much with the principals on form, and in what looks a particularly muddling contest, he appeals as the most solid option. Recent C&D winner Tudors Treasure is feared most, whilst Kilinakin and Rule The Ocean also enter calculations.
