Timeform's US team bring you three bets from this evening's racing at Aqueduct and Keeneland...
"The selection is still on the upgrade, having posted a career best last time out here when making all the running in similar grade, and there's every chance he will be left alone in front again."
Aqueduct race 5 (20:24 BST) - Tizmas
In all honesty there is not a great deal between Days Ride and Tizmas in the fifth race at Aqueduct from both an overall and recent form perspective but the latter seems likely to be available at a bigger price and that's enough for us in a race in which few others, not least the forecast third favourite Mr Palmer, can be fancied. The selection is still on the upgrade, having posted a career best last time out here when making all the running in similar grade, and there's every chance he will be left alone in front again.
Aqueduct race 8 (21:57 BST) - Bemata
Coltimus Prime has apparently the best form in the eighth race at Aqueduct but that seventh-of-eight in a Grade 2 at Keeneland last autumn has a misleading look about it and given his mediocre reappearance a better bet may well be Bemata, two of whose last three runs are good enough to take this if repeating either of them. The forecast 5 looks a decent price with forecast favourite Coach Inge set to take out a greater share of the market than his form merits.
Keeneland race 7 (21:11 BST) - Stellaris (Lay)
Stellaris looks a horse to lay in the seventh race at Keeneland, an allowance race for fillies and mares over a mile and a half on the turf. She faces three opponents in Sabbatical, the ex-English Carnevale (making her Stateside debut) and the consistent Meri Shika who have all shown useful form at around a mile and a half; in contrast Stellaris hasn't shown her form in three runs since last August and has done most of her running without really promising to stay a mile and a half.
