Timeform's US team bring you bets from Woodbine and Belmont on Sunday.
"There is plenty of European interest in the G3 Miss Grillo Stakes at Belmont..."
Woodbine 18:00 - Weekend In Malibu
Mel's Ring and Weekend In Malibu dominate the market for the opener at Woodbine which is fair and right since they have easily the best form in the race. Whereas Mel's Ring has struggled when upped to this sort of company, however, Weekend In Malibu has proved conclusively she is up to this level and with Patrick Husbands retaining the ride she is the selection.
Woodbine 19:24 - Conquest Strate Up
Form figures of 000 for Platinum Glory disguise his chance in the fourth at Woodbine and he should really be shorter than the 4.0 he is forecast to start. Second in a Grade 2 here back in June, Platinum Glory has faced increasingly stiff tasks since but back in allowance company here and arguably back at his best trip he should see off these with some ease.
Belmont 21:46 - Tin Type Gal
There is plenty of European interest in the G3 Miss Grillo Stakes at Belmont, but with the ex-Richard Hannon trained Belvoir Bay a suspect stayer, and the ex-French Llanita not looking good enough, the value may well be with Graham Motion's Tin Type Gal. She showed little on her debut over five and a half furlongs on the dirt but scored tidily upped to this trip and switched to grass last time - hardly surprising given she is by top sire Tapit out of a Graded winner on turf - and further improvement is very likely. Morning Line odds of 7 appeal greatly.
