Timeform pick out their three best bets in the UK on Wednesday...
"Though he has only won one of his four starts for Richard Hughes, he has been steadily progressive..."
Quality Song - Lingfield 14:10
This extra furlong should help Quality Song, who did comfortably best of those held-up off the pace last time over 11f at Kempton, and ran into a bit of trouble in the closing stages. Though he has only won one of his four starts for Richard Hughes, he has been steadily progressive, and granted some better luck in-running, he should be capable of defying this sort of mark. Le Notre is an obvious danger but given his patchy record for his previous yard he is not guaranteed to build on his second last time.
Space Oddity - Exeter 14:30
Space Oddity did not have an awful lot to spare at the line when winning at Taunton last time out (fourth has won since), but he took a strong hold that day, so this drop back in trip looks to be in his favour, and after having just two starts for Harry Fry, he could easily have more to offer. Steel City does not have a prolific strike-rate but has dropped to a tempting mark and may well provide the biggest danger to the selection.
Isis Blue - Kempton 19:55
Isis Blue was yet to be popped the question when stumbling/colliding with the rail two furlongs out and unseating Alice Mills over C&D last time and is worth another chance here from the same mark, which is just 4 lb higher than he was for his C&D win in January. He has low mileage for a six-year-old, and may well have more to offer given that his last win was a career-best. Richard Hughes has already got some improvement from Bank of Gibraltar, and he looks the biggest danger if building on his maiden victory last time on what will be just his second start in handicaps here.
