There is plenty of UK racing on Wednesday, and Timeform have picked out their three best bets...
"It shouldn't be long before he makes amends for that, and his opening mark looks fair, with first-time cheekpieces looking a good move."
Ballywilliam - 12:20 Haydock
This could be a match between Ballywilliam and Bruce Almighty. The former was left clear in a novice at Chepstow last time, but idled badly on the run in, and was collared in the shadow of the post. It shouldn't be long before he makes amends for that, and his opening mark looks fair, with first-time cheekpieces looking a good move. Bruce Almighty was mightily impressive when winning twice in October, but may just be found out by a 15-lb rise in the weights.
Double Accord - 13:10 Taunton
Talented young 5-lb claimer David Noonan has formed a formidable partnership with Anthony Honeyball this season, and Double Accord is the one who catches the eye here in this race, after showing much improved form on his handicap debut here last month. There are plenty of exposed horses in this race, and Double Accord makes plenty of appeal based on his profile, and will be hard to beat if building on his last run.
Summer Isles - 16:10 Wolverhampton
Summer Isles made a perfect start for this yard when winning well at Catterick in October, but was ultimately disappointing when turned out quickly under a penalty just 8 days on. She is worth another chance now after being given a longer break, and operating from just a 1 lb higher mark than when winning well at Dundalk in 2013 for former connections.
