Timeform pick out their three best bets in the UK on Tuesday...

"His strength in the market suggests better was clearly expected and this Derby entry could yet justify that belief on his return to action..."

Aqua Dude - Southwell 15:30

Aqua Dude looked set to justify short odds at this track last month when stumbling and unseating jockey Paul Moloney at the final flight. A good winner over the same C&D on his first outing over hurdles, he posted a fairly useful effort when behind Yanworth on his penultimate start and gave the impression that a step up to this longer trip would be in his favour. He looked set to benefit from a drop in grade most recently and comes into this first attempt at further without another penalty after that unfortunate incident at the last. He looks to hold sound claims of making amends here and Aqua Dude is fancied to register his second win from two completed starts at this track, with Taunton winner Churchtown Champ likely to give him most do after failing to trouble the judge in a Grade 2 last month.

Gambit - Wolverhampton 15:50

Gambit was well-backed on debut last August in a race won by subsequent Royal Lodge winner and Racing Post Trophy third Foundation. Indeed the market spoke only narrowly in the winner's favour that day and Gambit was still travelling every bit as well as that rival when stumbling three furlongs from home. Not given too hard a time by jockey Richard Kingscote after that misstep, his strength in the market suggests better was clearly expected and this Derby entry could yet justify that belief on his return to action. Hongkong Adventure is also entitled to improve for a promising debut at Lingfield recently and can get the better of Ragner in the battle for second, but this doesn't look the strongest race of its kind and Gambit is taken to confirm the promise of that initial outing with a win here.

My Little Cracker - Southwell 16:05

My Little Cracker produced a career-best effort to open her account over hurdles at the third attempt last time and the manner of that Hexham victory suggested she could yet be open to more improvement. A fairly useful performer in bumpers, she was bitterly disappointing when pulled-up on her first start over obstacles and, although posting an improved effort when a well-beaten second next time, her poor jumping looked likely to halt her progress in this sphere. However, she finally put it all together with a fluent round of hurdling at Hexham on her most recent outing and put quite a distance between herself and a previous winner in second. My Little Cracker looks capable of following up if reproducing the same level of form here and is fancied to see off the attentions of the unexposed Regal Ways to land the double here.
