Timeform pick out three bets from the UK on Tuesday...
Claude Greenwood - 12:00 Southwell
Claude Greenwood did well to finish fourth at Kempton last time after doing too much in the early stages of the race, and with those forcing tactics more suited to this venue - the track where he recorded his last win, from just 2 lb lower in the weights - he could be worth chancing with George Downing taking over in the saddle on just his third start for Tony Carroll. Ertidaad is difficult to win with but acts on the surface and has been in good heart of late.
Mithqaal - 14:30 Southwell
Mithqaal is yet to build on his impressive win in the Silver Cambridgeshire on debut for Mick Appleby, but he had a fairly busy period following that, and is of obvious interest here now tackling fibresand back from a break. He is bred to take to the surface and, though his best effort came over nine furlongs, he has plenty of speed so shouldn't have a problem with the drop back to seven here. Captain Revelation extended his excellent record at this track here last time (third win from five starts on the surface and has never finished out of the first two) and looks a big threat.
The Lock Master - 15:30 Southwell
The Lock Master's last success came at the beginning of 2016 over this C&D and from this handicap mark, and though he was badly out of form the last time we saw him on turf, he looks an interesting option on his return to a track where he has won seven times. Come Back King bumped into High Command last time but is lightly raced and should have more to offer, while Shining Romeo has been in good form at other tracks and could get involved if taking to the surface.
Timeform UK SmartPlays:
