Timeform pick out their best bets in the UK on Thursday...
"He looks a much more solid prospect, who should be able to land the hat-trick from a 6-lb-higher mark back at the track where he won his maiden."
Towcester 12:40 - Toby Lerone
Toby Lerone was clearly not right when bombing out over fences at Haydock last time, but he is worth another chance now returned to the C&D of his last success. He now has a penalty to contend with back in novice company, but with Bridget Andrews' useful 5-lb claim, he looks the way to go.
Southwell 14:30 - Street Force
Street Force was an expensive purchase for Michael Appleby, but made a somewhat-patchy start to his time for the yard last season. However, after being given a break and a breathing operation, he now looks a much more solid prospect, who should be able to land the hat-trick from a 6-lb-higher mark back at the track where he won his maiden. Stablemate Philba, who seems to be thriving on this surface with his latest combination of headgear, looks his biggest threat.
Southwell 15:00 - Fine 'N Dandy
Fine 'N Dandy is the most interesting in this sprint. He was last seen winning at Musselburgh in September, and despite being raised 7 lbs for that effort, he will remain well treated on his old form for Tom Dascombe. He is related to horses with form on this surface, and there is a good chance that he will take to fibresand on the first time of asking from a decent draw here. Oil Strike has been in good form recently, but it is hard to ignore the fact that he has finished plum last on both of his previous visits to this track.
