Timeform pick out bets from Leicester and Wolverhampton on Thursday.
"Mamoo was not ideally placed that day, either, held up in rear in a race where the winner made all, and he could be dangerous from the same mark."
Mamoo - Leicester 15:40
Mamoo is unexposed over this trip which he is bred to relish (by Sir Percy and is a half-brother to Censorius, who stays two miles) and produced his best effort to date when finishing second at Newmarket last time. He was not ideally placed that day, either, held up in rear in a race where the winner made all, and he could be dangerous from the same mark. Saint Thomas may be a nine-year-old but he has been in good heart this year, winning over C&D last month, and he can follow the selection home.
Jasmincita - Leicester 16:10
George Baker is in good form at present, including with his nursery runners (saddled a winner in a nursery earlier this week), and his Jasmincita could be worth chancing on her handicap debut here returning from a break. She is bred to be precocious, and could have been handed a workable opening mark here based on her fourth on her second start at Haydock in June where she finished behind three subsequent winners including Group 3 winners Fair Eva and Nations Alexander, and listed winner Miss Infinity.
Believe It - Wolverhampton 19:45
Believe It is a better horse on the all-weather, and makes plenty of appeal here now returning to the surface over a more suitable trip with Shane Kelly - the only jockey to have won on him to date - now back in the saddle. He bumped into Choral Clan, who has won since, the last time he tackled a suitable trip on the all-weather, and could still have more to offer from this sort of mark. Hardy Black was unlucky not to finish closer at Newcastle last time having been forced to wait to make his challenge, and he could be the biggest danger, having won over C&D on his penultimate start.
