Timeform pick out three bets from Nottingham on Sunday...

"Stars N Angels is Timeform top rated for this mile handicap and also remains open to improvement."

Nam Hai - Nottingham 14:50

Nam Hai produced his best effort on the Flat when third of 14 to Rayvin Black in a handicap at Goodwood last time and that form looks strong, with the winner finished a good second on his next start and the runner-up Onorina and fourth Sweet Selection both finishing first past the post since (Onorina was disqualified). Five-year-old Nam Hai remains relatively unexposed on the Flat and can get back to winning ways off the same mark.

Lexington Abbey - Nottingham 16:35

Lexington Abbey's record of 11121 at Nottingham (never won anywhere else) catches the eye, and it could prove foolish to oppose him in his bid for a fifth course win, particularly as the handicapper hasn't punished him for his reappearance success (in a minor event). That win in early-April also came at a time when the Kevin Ryan yard was not particularly firing (it was just its second winner since January) and Lexington Abbey can follow up here.

Stars N Angels - Nottingham 17:35

Stars N Angels was probably unlucky not to win at Beverley last time, her challenge late on hindered by her rider losing the whip at a crucial stage, and she can make amends. She's run well both times she's worn cheekpieces and the headgear remains as she bids to get off the mark at the seventh time of asking. Stars N Angels is Timeform top rated for this mile handicap and also remains open to improvement.
