Timeform bring you three bets ahead of Sunday's UK racing at Kempton...
"Haines was predictably strong in the finish that day (after meeting trouble inside the final furlong) and he will be much happier back over two miles here."
Lady D's Rock - Kempton 14:00
Lady D's Rock more than confirmed the promise of her third to Street Art over C&D in November (first run for three months) when she scored in impressive fashion over 11 furlongs here last month, and she can win again now she's off the mark. Lady D's Rock beat Bennelong by two lengths last time, staying on strongly in the closing stages, and the runner-up bolstered the form when filling the same spot (better form) on his next start. Lady D's Rock remains open to further improvement after just eight starts, only two of which have come over further than an extended 10 furlongs, and comes from a yard (Clive Cox) whose select bunch of all-weather horses are running well.
Haines - Kempton 15:10
Haines progressed well on the all-weather last winter, landing a four-timer at up to two miles, and, back on all-weather but down in trip to a mile and a half, he shaped well after five months off when a length fourth to Bayan Kasirga at Wolverhampton last month. Haines was predictably strong in the finish that day (after meeting trouble inside the final furlong) and he will be much happier back over two miles here. Todd also caught the eye on his latest start when second to front-running Tempuran in an unsatisfactory race at Lingfield, but he's won just one of his last 19 starts and Haines is preferred.
Royal Normandy - Kempton 16:10
Haines' trainer Andrew Balding could be in for a double as Royal Normandy confirmed the form of his C&D win last month when a next second to Searchlight in a similar race, again over C&D, six days ago and very much looks the one to beat here. Royal Normandy beat three next-time-out winners for that win and he finished with running left when just failing on Monday, having just been unable to match winner's turn of foot a furlong out. Royal Normandy's upturn in form has coincided with the application of blinkers and, with the headgear retained, he can quickly return to winning ways running off the same mark as last time in a handicap that doesn't look particularly competitive.
