There is a decent day of racing on Monday and Timeform have picked out their three best bets...
"Jeremy Noseda's charge has failed to trouble the judge in a handful of maidens, but one suspects there's much better to come now that he's pitched into a handicap off an attractive opening mark."
Mambo Paradise - 16:00 Pontefract
Mambo Paradise and Spiraea will be more at home back at this more suitable trip and look the most interesting in a wide-open handicap, the first-named just given the nod. Jamesbo's Girl, Gran Canaria Queen and Tumblewind are also entitled to be in the firing line.
Vereri Senes - 20:00 Windsor
There should be better to come from Vereri Senes now that she embarks on a handicapping career, and the lightly-raced Nayef filly gets the nod. Donna Graciosa ran not sort of a race at Ayr last time, but she smacked of an improver when scoring at Beverley previously and has to be feared, while fairly compelling cases can also be made for Nellies Quest and Madam Midnight.
Sumeida - 21:00 Windsor
The one with most striking potential in this contest is Sumeida. Jeremy Noseda's charge has failed to trouble the judge in a handful of maidens, but one suspects there's much better to come now that he's pitched into a handicap off an attractive opening mark. Last year's winner Shifting Star should be in the mix again this time round, but Western Playboy could be the one for the forecast.
