"She makes plenty of appeal now back at this trip, as one of the least exposed in the field."
Snowball - Kempton 13:05
Despite the big field this is not a deep race, and the hat-trick seeking Snowball could be the best option, with the useful conditional Harry Cobden booked for the ride. Snowball has improved for the step up to this sort of trip, and after running right up to his best last time, could yet have more to offer after being given a short break. Fellow last-time-out winner Maccabees is notoriously hard to win with, and doesn't look an obvious type to follow up here.
Israfel - Wolverhampton 14:50
A few of these are open to improvement, but Israfel is probably the pick of the lot, after shaping better than the result on handicap debut over six furlongs here last time out. She was given plenty to do that day, and with the step up to trip set to suit on that evidence, she can make amends here from the same mark. More Kudos has an eye-catching pedigree for this sort of surface, and may well be the selection's biggest threat on his handicap debut.
Robins Pearl - Wolverhampton 17:00
There is a suspicion that this could be an ideal trip for Robins Pearl, who seemed unsuited by the drop to 8.6f here on her first start for this yard, yet didn't completely convince that 12f at Kempton last time was ideal either. Robins Pearl won over this C&D on her final start for Olly Stephens from just 3 lbs lower in the weights in September, and she makes plenty of appeal now back at this trip, as one of the least exposed in the field.
