American Patrol - 14:00 Wolverhampton

Plenty of deadwood in this maiden, however American Patrol looks one of the few exceptions. Neil Mulholland's charge still looked to be learning on his handicap debut six weeks ago and remains with potential. Adam Kirby takes over in the saddle and a more positive ride should see an improved performance. Metronomic and Fairy Lock are a couple of the other more likely ones, whilst support for Son Castello on his debut for Gary Moore would be significant.

Beepeecee - 14:30 Wolverhampton

Beepeecee ran his best race to date in a Lingfield seller last time, finishing second to a well-backed winner, and looks worth chancing here. He has an awkward head carriage but has the right man on board for coming with a well-timed late run. Auric Goldfinger went close for a second time on his latest start and demands attention, while proven winner Viola Park, in first-time cheekpieces, has to be respected as well.

Start Seven - 16:00 Wolverhampton

Start Seven appeared to appreciate the return to the all-weather when winning over this C&D a fortnight ago, relishing the longer trip on his debut for Jamie Osborne, and, with the yard's horses in good form, he can follow up. It was a pleasing return from Eurato behind that rival and he can go well again, while Uncle Bernie shaped well back from an even longer absence last time.
