Timeform pick out their three best bets in the UK on Friday.

"Connections will no doubt be keen to have a crack at some better races again in the summer, but he is favoured by the conditions of this race..."

Goken - Lingfield 14:10

Goken made a winning debut for Keven Ryan in a Listed race over C&D in November and, although he was probably favoured by the way the race panned out that day, it still required a smart performance to give weight to all of his rivals. Indeed he equalled his career-best on that most recent outing, quickly rediscovering the level of form he had shown to win a Group 3 in France last May and giving the impression he could yet rate higher still. Settled just behind the leaders in the early stages, he accelerated quite takingly once the gap opened up on the inside and was ultimately a quite decisive winner. Few were ever able to get involved from off the pace on that occasion, but Goken was holding his advantage all the way to the line and can remain unbeaten for his new yard. Lancelot du Lac rates the chief danger from his wide draw.

Moonrise Landing - Lingfield 14:40

Moonrise Landing was a wide-margin winner of a qualifier for this race on her most recent start and the form of that contest has worked out extremely well. The third has since run with credit in Dubai, the fourth has won all of his three subsequent starts and the second, the reopposing Anglophile, was a good winner over this C&D last time. He was also runner-up in this race 12 months ago and holds sounds claims in his bid to go one better, but it is hard to see why he should reverse the recent form with Moonrise Landing. They meet on the same terms here and the selection remains open to more improvement over these staying trips. She is fancied to make it 4 from 4 on the all-weather, while Ballynanty was arguably unlucky not to beat Anglophile on his first try at this distance and can get the better of that rival in the battle for second.

Line Of Reason - Wolverhampton 16:00

Line Of Reason was an encouraging fourth on his return from five months off the track at Lingfield recently and is entitled to strip fitter for that first start of what is likely to be another challenging campaign. He produced a career-best when taking a Listed race at Cork in July and continued to acquit himself well at that level under a penalty, with his fourth in the Group 2 King George Stakes at Goodwood another effort of note. Connections will no doubt be keen to have a crack at some better races again in the summer, but he is favoured by the conditions of this race and should get the strong gallop that he needs with Red Baron in the line-up. He will improve for last month's pipe-opener and Line Of Reason is fancied to make his experience account against the three-year-old Rah Rah.
