Great Fighter caught the eye a couple of times earlier this year and looks the one to beat in a wide open contest. His third behind Project Bluebook at Musselburgh in January has received a number of boosts since and, with the possibility of more to come now wearing a visor for the first time, Great Fighter is fancied to see off the attentions of Azzuri and can resume winning ways for the Jim Goldie yard.
Just Milly shaped well when second on her most recent outing at Huntingdon and could be the pick of them in a hot handicap featuring plenty of promising novices. She makes her handicap debut from what looks a fair mark and should be seen in an even better light now stepping up to two and a half miles for the first time. Rockportian also looks well-treated on his handicap bow and is feared most of the remainder.
Nomoreblackjack has made all in such dominant fashion style at Catterick the last twice that it's hard to see the handicapper catching up with him for a little while. Indeed, he remains potentially very well-treated from a mark 13 lb higher than last time, and while this stiffer track is a slight concern, Nomoreblackjack makes more appeal than the lightly-raced Forest des Aigles and can complete the hat-trick.
