Course-and-distance winner William The Silent produced his best effort yet when beaten just a nose here last time and he holds solid claims on that form. He can improve on that and gets the verdict over Warrior's Rest, whose clearcut win here last time is just about the best form on offer.

#4 Astrix - R6 Turffontein (13:20)

Astrix arrives here on the back of two wins here and looks set to complete the hat-trick. She produced her best effort yet on her latest start and will be tough to beat if running to a similar level. Frosted Gold also won last time and looks the chief danger.

#4 Ronnie's Candy - R8 Turffontein (15:10)

Ronnie's Candy won at the Vaal last month and then took her form to another level when runner up in a Grade 3 handicap here earlier this month. That form is the best on offer and she is set to launch a bold bid. Roy's Riviera was one place behind Ronnie's Candy last time and appeals as a leading danger.
