Timeform pick out three bets from Scottsville on Wednesday.

Trini's Var Hyt - Scottsville 10:10

Trini's Var Hyt was highly impressive on her debut over shorter here, showing plenty of early speed to cruise home hard held from Argo Magic under jockey Anton Marcus, and the pair are reunited again this afternoon. She is bred to take this step up in trip in her stride as a daughter of the legendary Var and, although Argo Magic has clearly improved since as seen with a win at Greyville, there is no reason why she should reverse December form with Trini's Var Hyt this afternoon.

Geste - Scottsville 11:10

Geste had some acceptable earlier form here and on the Greyville polytack before a three month break from September to December. She was beaten over five lengths when sixth last time out, but blinkers are added now in this weaker looking race, and it seems fair to think that after two runs Geste will be at her peak this afternoon for the Charles Laird yard who are in excellent form.

Cabinda - Scottsville 14:40

Cabinda is in the capable hands of ex British champion jockey Michael Roberts who now trains in his homeland, and the son of Australian sire Seventh Rock deserves to get his head in front after seven frustrating places in a row. He steps up in trip to seven furlongs now and is bred to really appreciate it as a half-brother to the decent Counts Rocket, who won twice over a mile. More improvement is expected and Cabinda is taken to get off the mark at the ninth attempt.
