Timeform pick out three bets from Vaal on Tuesday.
Sea Bean - Vaal 11:05
Sea Bean is the stand out on form and looks sure to appreciate the step up in trip after running on strongly twice to place over shorter. Trainer Geoff Woodruff is in great form, as is jockey and work rider Francis Semela, and Sea Bean seems to have been found an easy opportunity to defy her sprint breeding and come home in front at the third attempt.
Couldyoube - Vaal 12:15
Couldyoube has an awful lot going for her here after finishing a career best second last time out at Turffontein over slightly shorter. A tongue strap is added to aid her breathing and when you add her form to handler Shaylen Naidoo who tops the in-form trainer list in this contest, and top work rider Samuel Mosia and Couldyoube becomes even more difficult to oppose.
Moss Gas - Vaal 13:25
Moss Gas is in the capable hands of trainer Paul Peter who has his string in fine fettle of late with a better than 10% strike rate which catches the eye. The daughter of The Sheik has placed in two of her last three starts with an acceptable third over C&D last Thursday. This looks a slightly weaker race and Moss Gas is fancied to give young jockey Phelisile Mongqawa another winner as he aims for a career as a fully-fledged jockey.
