Timeform pick out bets from Kenilworth and Turffontein.
Commander Bond - 14:15 (BST) Kenilworth
Commander Bond arrives her perhaps surprisingly still looking for his first win after three consecutive top-four placings, the last two when going down by less than half a length over this mile and then by less than a quarter of a length last time over seven furlongs last month. That was his first run in five months and although well supported, he is fully entitled to be more race fit this afternoon and with the return to a mile sure to suit him, he looks the one to beat and is difficult to oppose for trainer Eric Sands and jockey Greg Cheyne.
Brave Nomad - 15:20 (BST) Turffontein
Brave Nomad remains unbeaten after two races, having hacked up at Vaal on Thursday, and as things stand he will still be turning out here looking to land the hat-trick. Trainer Sean Tarry and jockey S'manga Khumalo are a formidable team and the son of Gitani Hernando has a nice draw in the four stall here as well. Trip, track and going all look ideal and he may well end up being a lot better than this standard in the long run.
Tevez - 15:30 (BST) Kenilworth
Tevez is the class act here and although unlikely to be much of a price, he can win this with his head in his chest. On official ratings he arrives eight pounds clear of his closest rival and after winning here over five and a half furlongs in December in the listed Southeaster Sprint he finished second to Trip To Heaven in the Grade Two Diadem Stakes. Most recently he was an excellent two-length fifth to top sprinter Carry On Alice in the valuable Cape Flying Championship. Nothing else in this line up could expect to match those efforts, and if Tevez is at the top of his game, he will win this easily.
