2.20 Fly High Faye Nickels Maiden Stakes (4) 5f

Analyst's Verdict:
Savannah's Dream produced a huge effort to finish second in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and, given time to get over those exertions, she should prove hard to beat in maiden company. Hemingway showed plenty of ability on debut and looks set to build on that, while any market support for the Group 2 entered newcomer Kruger Park should be noted.

Timeform Top Rated:
103 7. SAVANNAH'S DREAM David O'Meara Daniel Tudhope
92 6. PEACH PAVLOVA Ann Duffield P. J. McDonald
91p 1. HEMINGWAY Kevin Ryan Kevin Stott

2.50 Pontefract And District Golf Club Handicap (5) 1½m8y

Analyst's Verdict:
The potentially well treated Love Marmalade looks most interesting starting out for David O'Meara and he may be able to capitalise on his reduced mark. Fastnet Blast ran respectably in a course maiden last time and he may do better now handicapping for last year's winning yard.

Timeform Top Rated:
82 2. LOVE MARMALADE David O'Meara Daniel Tudhope
81 1. CHANT Ann Duffield P. J. McDonald
79 5. SAINT THOMAS John Mackie Franny Norton

3.25 Sandal BMW Handicap (4) 1¼m6y

Analyst's Verdict:
Le Deluge is the obvious one under a penalty after his easy win at Redcar last week. Eutropius and Street Duel are others to consider.

Timeform Top Rated:
94 7. STREET DUEL Mark Johnston Franny Norton
92 8. LE DELUGE Micky Hammond P. J. McDonald
91 4. EUTROPIUS Alan Swinbank Silvestre De Sousa

4.00 Sky Bet Go-Racing-In-Yorkshire Summer Festival Pomfret Stakes (Listed) (1) 1m4y

Analyst's Verdict:
Convey clearly has his quirks but it would be disappointing if he couldn't take care of these. It looks wide open for the place money, headed by sole-3-y-o-runner Kentuckyconnection.

Timeform Top Rated:
129 4. CONVEY Sir Michael Stoute Ryan Moore
124 5. MASTER CARPENTER Rod Millman Silvestre De Sousa
120§ 2. BOSSY GUEST Mick Channon Charles Bishop

4.35 tiesplanet.com - Ties For Every Occasion Handicap (3) 6f

Analyst's Verdict:
The expectation is that the thriving Maureb will track the pace on the inside before delivering a fatal blow in the straight, the way she shaped at Beverley last Sunday leaving the firm impression that she's still ahead of her mark. Explain, another one on the up, could provide the biggest challenge ahead of Mishaal, who's been rated significantly higher in the past.

Timeform Top Rated:
97 2. EXPLAIN Ruth Carr James Sullivan
96 5. YEEOOW K. R. Burke Clifford Lee (7)
95 1. EASTERN RACER Brian Ellison Callum Shepherd (5)

5.10 Gordon Duker Memorial Maiden Stakes (5) 1m4y

Analyst's Verdict:
Khairaat looked a potentially useful sort when runner-up on debut at Salisbury recently, just edged out late on, and he looks up to going one place better now. Confident Kid is feared most, whilst the market will guide with the impeccably-bred Russian Finale.

Timeform Top Rated:
91p 3. KHAIRAAT Sir Michael Stoute Paul Hanagan
84p 2. CONFIDENT KID Saeed bin Suroor Martin Lane

5.40 New Beginnings Horses Handicap (5) 5f

Analyst's Verdict:
Groundworker and Henley are closely matched on their C&D efforts in June, and could be the pair to focus on, the former fancied to get the better of the argument on this occasion.
Jack Luey, dropped in class, may represent some each-way value.

Timeform Top Rated:
83 3. GROUNDWORKER Paul Midgley Graham Lee
81 5. TAFFETTA Tony Coyle Barry McHugh
80 1. HENLEY Tracy Waggott Dale Swift
