2.10 Mobile Casino At 188Bet Mares' Novices' Hurdle (4) 2m175y

Timeform Top Rated:
135p 1. LITTLE MISS POET Philip Hobbs Tom O'Brien
106 2. CASCAYE Kim Bailey David Bass
100 5. LLANTARA Tom Symonds Ben Poste (3)

Analyst's Verdict:
Impossible to oppose Little Miss Poet who should have little difficulty adding to her recent Market Rasen success. Cascaye was beaten a long way into third on her Ayr hurdling debut but still looks the obvious one for the forecast spot ahead of Llantara.

2.45 Brewin Dolphin Mares' Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (3) 2¼m111y

Timeform Top Rated:
139 5. TOBERDOWNEY Oliver Sherwood Leighton Aspell
138p 2. SHAAMA GRISE David Pipe Tom Scudamore
135 4. TARA MIST Henry Daly Tom O'Brien

Analyst's Verdict:
Toberdowney is now 4 lb better off for her defeat behind Tara Mist at Ludlow recently, and given her unexposed profile, she may well be up to reversing those placings and adding to her tally. Shaama Grise has gone up plenty for her Chepstow success but is progressive, whilst Giveaway Glance can also step forward.

3.15 Andrew West Memorial Chase (Novices' Limited Handicap) (3) 3m54y

Timeform Top Rated:
153p 2. WILD WEST WIND Tom George A. P. Heskin
150 3. IN THE ROUGH Jonjo O'Neill Aidan Coleman
146+ 1. LABEL DES OBEAUX Alan King Wayne Hutchinson

Analyst's Verdict:
Wild West Wind has looked a natural since his attentions have been turned to chasing and, having had much more up his sleeve than the winning margin suggested at Hereford last time, should have no trouble defying a small rise to maintain his unbeaten record in this discipline. Label des Obeaux is the likely biggest threat, though a return to form from In The Rough wouldn't be a great surprise.

3.50 Higos Insurance Services Devon National Handicap Chase (3) 3¾m153y

Timeform Top Rated:
147 10. WEST OF THE EDGE Dr Richard Newland Sam Twiston-Davies
144 1. MOUNTAINOUS Kerry Lee Mr Richard Patrick (7)
144 6. DAWSON CITY Polly Gundry Wayne Hutchinson

Analyst's Verdict:
Mostly exposed sorts but not West of The Edge, who's on the up for this stable, and can make it 3 from 3 over fences for this yard. Mountainous has conditions to suit and is the obvious threat after his good second at Hereford, while Abracadabra Sivola is another likely player after his Taunton win.

4.25 Acca Insurance At 188Bet 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (4) 2¼m111y

Timeform Top Rated:
150p 1. ANY DRAMA Harry Fry Noel Fehily
135p 3. BRAHMS DE CLERMONT Paul Nicholls Sam Twiston-Davies
118 2. BLACK ANTHEM Brian Barr Michael Heard (5)

Analyst's Verdict:
Any Drama stepped up appreciably on his hurdling debut form when annihilating his rivals at Market Rasen this month, despite making numerous mistakes, and he ought to take this in his stride before having his sights raised further. Brahms de Clermont looks the obvious danger in a novice hurdle lacking depth.

4.55 Prydis Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m7f25y

Timeform Top Rated:
129 9. OBISTAR David Pipe David Noonan (3)
128+ 8. THEGIRLFROMMILAN Rebecca Curtis Jonathan Moore (3)
127§ 2. ALL KINGS Harry Fry Noel Fehily

Analyst's Verdict:
Thegirlfrommilan has shown ability in novice hurdles, and looks the type to kick on now handicapping, so is one to keep an eye on, especially if strong in the market. Obistar isn't one to set your watch by, but he's back down to his last winning mark, and has the headgear refitted, whilst The Artful Cobbler is another who can be competitive off this mark.

5.25 188Bet Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m175y

Timeform Top Rated:
107p 12. GOONJIM Alexandra Dunn Adam Wedge
106 4. GEORGIESHORE Zoe Davison William Featherstone (5)
105 3. RICHARDOFDOCCOMBE Gail Haywood Graham Watters (3)

Analyst's Verdict:
The manner in which Goonjim travelled for a long way at Bangor last month suggests he can win off his basement mark and he's expected to take a bit of stopping back down in trip. David Pipe's Tobacco Road fared best of those ridden close up when fourth in a big field at Taunton last time and should go well, while Chance Taken has been consistent in similar events this term.
