"Cheatingsideoftown bids to give Sue Bradburne a retirement winner...
You either like punting on ground that is getting on for a foot deep or you don't.
It's never been my cup of tea, but there are a couple of horses worth noting this Friday.
First up is Cheatingsideoftown in Perth's opener at 14:00.
A couple of good tales are waiting to be written here, with Cheatingsideoftown bidding to give Sue Bradburne a retirement winner and Keeneland trying to take Donald McCain to an astonishing 150 winners for the season.
It could be close between the pair, but Cheatingsideoftown jumped really well in front before tiring late at Newcastle on his latest start and has the added advantage of Lucy Alexander's 3lb claim for the first time today.
The case for siding with Pretty Primo in Doncaster's 14:10 is harder to establish given that she was beaten just under 20 lengths on her Leicester debut.
However, Richard Hannon's filly is bred to be useful and caught the eye travelling powerfully on the pace for a long way.
I suspect Pretty Primo is capable of much better than she showed that day and she's worth backing at 14.013/1 or bigger with a view to trading out at much shorter in running.
