A busy Sunday in Ireland this weekend, with two meetings and plenty of runners to get stuck into, and Timeform's Irish team have come up with another three win selections...
Ransomed Rose left the impression that she would come on leaps and bounds for her debut at Limerick...
Wings of A Star (14:25) failed to justify support on his debut for Charles Byrnes last time, but looks worth another try in first-time blinkers considering how lenient a mark of 88 looks given what he achieved over hurdles earlier in his career. A former point winner, Wings of A Star looks to have been found a very winnable handicap on just his second start for his shrewd yard and again has the assistance of Davy Russell in the saddle.
Kilbarry Beauty (17:25) created a good impression when building on a promising debut at Cork last time and is expected to defy a penalty. John Kiely's half-sister to three winners, including smart jumper Massini's Maguire, confirmed the promise of her eye-catching debut when beating Clar Na Mionn by nearly 10 lengths last time and is capable of better still.
Ransomed Rose (17:35) left the impression that she would come on leaps and bounds for her debut at Limerick and, with that form working out nicely and the step up to a mile sure to suit, she is expected to get off the mark in the closing maiden at Navan. Dermot Weld's filly, who cost $320,000, was off the bridle a long way out over seven furlong at Limerick on her debut in March but came home well when the penny dropped, finishing just over six lengths fifth to Shebella. That run should stand her in good stead and she has the best form on offer from those with racecourse experience.
