Valours Minion has flourished late in his career, notching a fifth win in the last 9 months at Ballinrobe last time, and might be up to going in again in a race where most of his rivals have something to prove. Beckwith Star was well held in a big-field handicap hurdle on last month's return to action but this is less competitive and he could be the one to give the selection most to think about.

Slygufftou - 20:00 Wexford

Slygufftou produced an improved performance, with the aid of first-time blinkers, when third at Clonmel last week, and can get off the mark over hurdles this time. Red Castle and Miss Faithful head the list of dangers.
