There is racing from Thurles on Wednesday, and Timeform pick out their three best bets.

"He remains open to improvement, and from what looks a fair opening mark, he is expected to progress past some more exposed types to make a winning handicap debut."

Exit Seven - Thurles 14:15

Exit Seven is a twenty-race maiden, which does temper enthusiasm slightly, but he arrives on the back of a career-best effort over hurdles after finishing third at Fairyhouse last week, looking the most likely winner for the most part until tiring late on. He has been on good terms with himself since reverting to timber and arguably brings the best form to the table, so a repeat of his latest run should suffice.

Just Cause - Thurles 15:25

Just Cause was well held in bumpers but showed much improved form to make a winning start over hurdles at Cork in November, appreciating the longer trip, and he has since bettered that form to finish runner-up twice in novice hurdles over C&D. He remains open to improvement, and from what looks a fair opening mark, he is expected to progress past some more exposed types to make a winning handicap debut.

Edvardo - Thurles 16:00

Edvardo had been quite well backed on his previous start and belatedly proved that support to be well founded by showing much improved form to get off the mark over hurdles at Navan on Saturday, forging clear on the run-in. He is bound to be hit hard by the handicapper for that success, so turned out quickly under just a 4-Ib penalty, he makes plenty of appeal and should take some stopping if turning up in the same form.
