We have picked out three SmartPlays on tonight's card at Dundalk, including a lay...
".....David Wachman had three winners at this track last week."
Count of Limonade is bound to prove popular in the three-year-old handicap at 20:20, but he may well struggle to give 13 lb to the unexposed Love And Cherish. Unlike Count of Limonade, Love And Cherish already has experience of this surface having finished a close fourth on debut here in October prior to opening her account in a C&D maiden the following month. She is starting off in handicaps from what looks a handy mark and her trainer, David Wachman, had three winners at this track last week.
Prince of Dubai is still a maiden after ten starts on the level, but has been given a chance by the handicapper as a result and looks worth siding with in the 20:50. He was unlucky not to finish closer than fourth (hampered leaving stalls, had a hopeless task from his position) when last seen on the Flat back in July, and was in good heart over hurdles before the turn of the year.
Nabat Ali has the best form on offer in the last but she doesn't set a very high standard so is worth opposing at a shortish price. She failed to come on from a reasonably encouraging debut at Fairyhouse last year and many from this yard have been shaping as if just in need of a run this year.
Timeform Irish SmartPlays:
Back Love And Cherish in the 20:20
Back Prince of Dubai in the 20:50
Lay Nabat Ali in the 21:20
