Timeform pick out three bets from Galway on Tuesday.

Aspen Colorado - 14:55 Galway

Aspen Colorado was a short price in the ante-post betting for the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival last season after beating a number of subsequent winners in a pair of four-year-old contests at the beginning of 2016, but eventually missed the Festival itself and proved somewhat disappointing when he eventually showed up in the Punchestown equivalent. He made a smooth first start over hurdles when winning at Listowel last month, however, and is sure to progress further with that under his belt.

Monksland - 16:00 Galway

A useful-looking contest in which Monksland sets the standard on his two second-place efforts in Grade 1 novice races last season in the Drinmore (behind No More Heroes) and the Flogas (behind Outlander). He has gone well fresh before, including on his reappearance last season where he ran Arctic Fire to half a length in a Grade 2 over hurdles, and looks to have been found a good opportunity to get back to winning ways. Marinero was impressive at Downpatrick last time and is the danger.

Air Command - 17:00 Galway

Air Command's fourth in a beginners chase here over the summer has worked out very well, with the second, third, and fifth all winning next time out. Although he couldn't build on that effort straight away at Kilarney last time, a return to this C&D for his handicap debut looks a good move, as does the booking of Ruby Walsh, and he is expected to go well. Mitebeall Forluck and Valours Minion look potential dangers in an open contest.
