Timeform pick out three bets from Ballinrobe on Tuesday evening.

"The smart form he has shown over fences suggests he could still be quite well-handicapped in this discipline..."

Shanpallas - Ballinrobe 19:00

Shanpallas shaped with promise on his return from over five months off the track at Punchestown last time, making steady headway from an unpromising position on the final circuit and keeping on well in the closing stages for a never-nearer fifth. He was always likely to find the two miles of that race an insufficient test of stamina and, having won over three miles at Limerick in October 2014, he will appreciate the return to a longer trip here. The smart form he has shown over fences suggests he could still be quite well-handicapped in this discipline and Shanpallas can show the benefit of that most recent outing with a defeat of recent Down Royal winner Kilkishen.

Vinnies Time - Ballinrobe 19:30

Vinnies Time produced a significant career-best on his most recent outing at Cork, appearing to relish better ground than he had encountered in his first four starts over hurdles and giving the impression there could yet be more to come from him in this sphere. He had to settle for second behind a similarly unexposed rival that day, but the pair pulled over three lengths clear of the remainder and the sixth has since boosted the form with a comfortable success at Tipperary. Vinnies Time heads the field on Timeform ratings here and - with a 5 lb hike in the weights offset by his jockey's claim - he can see off the attentions of Anna Holty for a first career victory.

Rock On Fruity - Ballinrobe 20:00

Rock On Fruity looked set to give the useful Lord Scoundrel a real race when falling on his penultimate start at Limerick and, although he proved disappointing on his only subsequent outing, he returns from seven months off the track with by far the best form on offer here. There are some interesting recruits to this sphere in opposition, but those with previous experience over fences have some 15 lb to find with the selection on Timeform ratings and - given plenty of time to recover from a below par effort last time - Rock On Fruity can open his account over the larger obstacles with a defeat of 2014 Triumph Hurdle winner Tiger Roll.
