Timeform pick out three bets from the Curragh on Thursday.

"He ultimately found one too good on the day - the third time he has filled the runner-up spot in his last five starts..."

Khukri - Curragh 12:55

Khukri shaped encouragingly when second on his racecourse debut over this C&D in June and the form of that effort could hardly have worked out better, with the winner since successful in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes here last month. Khukri needs to bounce back from a below par effort last time, but was returning from two months off the track on that occasion and deserves another chance to confirm the promise of his initial outing. Noble Intention has 8 lb to find with the selection on Timeform ratings, but should be suited by the drop back to six furlongs and makes most appeal with the forecast spot in mind.

Enter The Red - Curragh 15:35

Enter The Red is thriving at present and again ran creditably when second on his most recent outing at Listowel. He appeared set to gain the victory his consistency deserved for the majority of that contest, travelling smoothly into contention as the field turned into the straight and still holding a narrow advantage with a furlong left to run. He ultimately found one too good on the day - the third time he has filled the runner-up spot in his last five starts - but that looks the best recent form on offer here and Enter The Red is fancied to go one better with a defeat of Laytown winner Burren View Lady.

Dragon Khan - Curragh 16:40

Dragon Khan shaped with promise when fourth on his return from over four months off the track at Listowel nine days ago, travelling well at the head of affairs and only weakening when the lack of a recent run began to tell in the closing stages. He is entitled to improve with that outing under his belt and remains potentially well-handicapped off a mark 11 lb higher than when an 18-length winner at Limerick in April. He appeared to relish the testing conditions that day and Dragon Khan would appear to hold sound claims in near optimum conditions here, with the unexposed Rose Anjou feared most.
