Timeform pick out three bets from the evening meeting at Clonmel on Thursday.
"...while she won only one of her 17 starts for her former trainer, she could easily have more to offer for her new stable."
Walkabout - Clonmel 18:35
Walkabout clearly appreciated the return to better ground when a length second at Kilbeggan last Friday, and given he remains low-mileage after just six starts, he gets the nod to go one place better now. The finish of that Kilbeggan race was fought out by largely unexposed/form horses and should prove solid form.
Steady Major - Clonmel 19:05
There are plenty in this race who could improve now handicapping, but Steady Major should be sharper for this month's reappearance and very much appeals as the type to do better now tackling these sort of races and going up in trip. He's also trained by Gordon Elliott yard, while Bryan Cooper taking over in the saddle in a Jockey Uplift on the Timeform Race Card.
Urtheoneiwant - Clonmel 20:10
We're going for a Gordon Elliott treble, with the last leg set to be completed by Urtheoneiwant who may well have fended off Oisin James at Tramore a fortnight ago but for a crucial late mistake and is taken to reverse the form. That was only her third start for Elliott and, while she won only one of her 17 starts for her former trainer, she could easily have more to offer for her new stable.
