Timeform pick out three bets from Thurles on Thursday.

"Vic Approach ran well when last seen in October, only collared late in the day over C&D, and he looks worth sticking with..."

Five O'Clock Tea - Thurles 15:30

Five O'Clock Tea took a step back in the right direction when seven and three-quarter lengths fourth of 13 to Chestnut Charlie at Navan last time and has slipped to a handy mark, so he looks the way to go in this two-mile handicap chase wearing first-time cheekpieces. Tony Martin's charge won off a 4 lb higher mark over hurdles, and again has the services of the excellent conditional Donagh Meyler on board this afternoon.

Robbina - Thurles 16:05

Robbina seemed to show much improved form under more positive tactics when 22 lengths third of 10 to Alto Esqua in a maiden hurdle at Clonmel last month and she is worth chancing to build on that in this similar race. That form has worked out, with subsequent wins from the second and the sixth, and Robbina can get off the mark here with only one other obvious front runner (Crocodile Dundee) in the race.

Vic Approach - Thurles 17:15

Vic Approach ran well when last seen in October, only collared late in the day over C&D, and he looks worth sticking with on his return from a short break. Vic Approach has built up a good relationship with today's pilot David Mullins, and the pair can quickly get back to winning ways, having won a maiden chase together on the gelding's penultimate outing.
