There is racing from Down Royal and Wexford on Thursday and Timeform pick out their three best bets from the action.
"The way he was staying on at the finish that day suggests this longer trip will be in his favour..."
Red Pearl - Wexford 15:00
Red Pearl hasn't been sighted on a racecourse since springing a surprise in a Ballinrobe bumper in May, but she is taken to confirm the promise of that outing on this her hurdling debut. She has the build to take to jumps and, although her fitness has to be taken on trust after such a long spell on the sidelines, Red Pearl should be good enough to win what is a fairly weak contest. Next Bend is improving and, having unseated his rider when still in contention at Leopardstown in December, looks most likely to fill the forecast spot.
After Aspen - Down Royal 16:00
A fair performer over hurdles, After Aspen put up a career-best when second on his chasing debut at Clonmel last time and, with the experience of that promising introduction under his belt, there could be more improvement forthcoming in this sphere. The way he was staying on at the finish that day suggests this longer trip will be in his favour and he is fancied to get the better of Golden Boot, who made a winning start over the larger obstacles at Gowran Park recently, but hasn't always impressed with his attitude.
Kally's Taken - Down Royal 17:45
The runners with experience don't set a great standard here and Kally's Taken is fancied to make a winning debut under rules. There are bumper winners in her immediate family and trainer Stuart Crawford produced her half-sister to win her first two starts. The market will give a good indication of what is expected from Kally's Taken, but she looks to hold sound claims of following in her sibling's footsteps and can get off the mark with a win here. Dixie Lee is feared most, with the form of her recent third at Fairyhouse working out okay.

Last year, just in time for the Cheltenham Festival, we introduced Each-Way betting onto the Exchange for the first time. This year, we’re extending the Each-Way experience to include in-running betting, so all the betting and trading opportunities available on Win and Place markets are now available on EW in-play as well.
We’re using our innovative Liquidity Pooling technology – first introduced on Football markets – to make available money in the Win and Place markets also available in the Each Way markets, so Each-Way markets are as liquid as possible.
