Timeform pick out three bets from Bellewstown and Tipperary on Thursday.
"Windsor Beach bounced back to form on his second start in handicaps when finishing two lengths second to a subsequent winner at Leopardstown last time..."
Calm Bay - 17:35 Bellewstown
Calm Bay posted his best effort of the campaign when second at Down Royal last time, and with the fourth horse Rattling Jewell winning a big-field sprint since then, the form looks solid enough. Calm Bay has not won for just over a year, but has dropped significantly in the weights since then and is now 18 lb below his last winning mark, and he looks to have been found a decent opportunity to get back to winning ways here today with Pat Smullen back in the saddle. Last year's winner Catwilldo and the lightly raced Bambari can give him most to think about.
Aimhirgin Lass - 19:55 Tipperary
Aimhirgin Lass has been given a chance by the handicapper from this sort of mark and returned to form with a second at Ballinrobe last time, where she conceded first run to the winner and may well have gone close to getting off the mark in handicaps with a more prominent ride. Her biggest danger could be Little Prairie, who caught the eye after meeting trouble/being unsuited by the way the race developed at Naas last time and may well have more to offer for her new yard.
Windsor Beach - 20:25 Tipperary
Johnny Murtagh is in excellent form at present, landing a double from two runners at Fairyhouse yesterday, and his Windsor Beach is of interest here under a useful 7 lb claimer. Windsor Beach bounced back to form on his second start in handicaps when finishing two lengths second to a subsequent winner at Leopardstown last time, and with the potential for more to come based on his fairly useful pedigree, he is worth backing today to get off the mark. Beechmount Whisper and Royal Blessing look the main dangers.
