Timeform pick out three bets from Leopardstown on Thursday evening.

"With just that one start to her name she is open to further improvement and if coming on for her debut she will be hard to beat."

Douglas Macarthur - 18:00 Leopardstown

Aidan O'Brien has won four of the last six runnings of this maiden, and the impeccably bred Douglas Macarthur - the choice of Ryan Moore - is expected to come on plenty for his first outing here over 7f in June (sent off at odds of 2/5 and not given a hard time once beaten and increase his trainer's excellent record in the race. Oaks winner Was and Al Naamah, who are both his full relatives, were successful at two, and 1,250,000 yearling Douglas Macarthur is expected to win this on his way to bigger and better things.

Promise To Be True - 19:00 Leopardstown

Promise To Be True's full-sister Maybe was unbeaten as a two-year-old, winning this race as well as the likes of the Chesham at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 Moyglare at the Curragh, and she is open to significant improvement on her second career start today after overcoming plenty of inexperience on debut at Tipperary last time to make a winning start. Promise To Be True is not certain to scale the Group 1 heights that Maybe did in her first season, but she is expected to follow in her footsteps and take this Group 3 prize this evening under Ryan Moore.

Zulu Alpha - 21:05 Leopardstown

Siamsaiocht is current favourite for the finale on the card this evening, but she has had plenty of chances (just one win from eleven starts to date) and is worth taking on at the top of the market for all that this is an easier assignment than some of the group/listed class races she has been running in this season. The one to be with could be Dermot Weld's Zulu Alpha, who was narrowly touched off on debut in a maiden at the end of last season after being well supported in the market, but showed plenty of ability all the same. With just that one start to her name she is open to further improvement and if coming on for her debut she will be hard to beat.
