Timeform bring you the three Smartplays from racing at Limerick and Navan on Sunday.

Sydney Thompson - 15:30 Limerick

Sydney Thompson shaped very well and arguably should have won given his strength at the finish at Gowran last week and can gain compensation. Tiger Bay Lady and The Mad Well can follow him home.

Lord Adare - 16:35 Limerick

Lord Adare has yet to set the world alight over fences, though he was a winner in bumpers and over hurdles, and ultimately shaped as if needing the run at Gowran last time. He's well regarded by his yard and this won't take much winning. Draycott Place sets the standard so far though has to bounce back from a lesser effort last time, while Stonehall Jack can do better if brushing up his jumping.

Heathfield - 16:45 Navan
A highly competitive handicap, despite the relatively small field. Heathfield has been raised 7 lb following his cracking effort in defeat at Leopardstown, but he's still not fully exposed and stepping back up in trip here will be very much in his favour. Forever Gold scored off this mark over hurdles last time and has to be feared, while Katnap and Gallant Tipp are also live contenders.
