Timeform pick out three bets from Ireland on Sunday.
Monbeg Notorious - 13:40 Cork (LAY)
Monbeg Notorious justified odds-on favouritism on hurdling debut last time, beating a subsequent winner by a length and a half. The Storyteller was probably going to lay down a serious challenge that day before falling two out, however, and Monbeg Notorious looks short enough in the betting here as he attempts to defy a penalty. Screaming Rose sets the standard on her seconds in listed company on her last two starts, and won't be a pushover, while Rathnure Revel is entitled to improve on his win at Clonmel last time.
Sub Lieutenant - 14:00 Punchestown
Djakadam proved a class apart in this race last season despite concerns about the sharpness of the trip and he should be hard to beat again if returning in the same sort of form. He faces a thriving and progressive rival in the form of Sub Lieutenant, however, who looked every inch a Grade 1 chaser in the making when winning the Grade 2 Belfast Chase at Down Royal last time by three and a half lengths from Outlander, who probably would have won the Clonmel Oil Chase on his next start but for a crashing late fall.
Knockraha Pylon - 15:20 Cork
Orchard Road recorded his second success since joining Gordon Elliott at Limerick earlier this month in good style and is entitled to run well again here despite a 9 lb rise in the weights. At the prices, however, it could be worth chancing Knockraha Pylon, who caught the eye when finishing fifth in that race, keeping on late without being unduly punished. A swing in the weights and the booking of Paul Townend could see the form reversed nine days on.
