Timeform pick out three bets from the Curragh on Sunday.

"US Army Ranger is fancied to take this in receipt of 10 lb from Fascinating Rock and can tee himself up for a crack at some big prizes in the autumn..."

US Army Ranger - Curragh 15:45

US Army Ranger showed himself to be a high-class three-year-old with a terrific second in the Derby at Epsom in June, throwing down a strong challenge as the field entered the final furlong and simply finding a superior stayer too strong day. That still represented a huge effort on what was just the third start of his short career to date and - sure to improve with that experience under his belt - US Army Ranger is fancied to take this in receipt of 10 lb from Fascinating Rock and can tee himself up for a crack at some big prizes in the autumn.

Rehana - Curragh 16:15

Rehana shaped with promise when third on her racecourse debut at Fairyhouse in June and showed the benefit of that experience with a ready success on her most recent outing over this C&D. She looked a useful prospect in the making on that occasion, pulling two and three quarter lengths clear of the reopposing Rhododendron and giving the impression there was plenty more to come. Rhododendron improved to land a Goodwood maiden last time, but has 4 lb to find with Rehana on Timeform ratings and may have to settle for second again in this Group 2 prize.

Cirin Toinne - Curragh 17:45

Cirin Toinne showed a fairly useful level of form when making a successful racecourse debut at Leopardstown last month and produced an even better effort in defeat when second at Gowran Park last time. She still didn't look the finished article on that occasion, carrying her head at an awkward angle when asked for an effort and just collared by a more battle-hardened rival in the closing stages. She should come on again with that experience under her belt, though, and is expected to prove too strong for Aimhirgin Lass in a competitive finale.
